Border Warrior Mission Statement

To change lives by building a tribe of confident, strong, self assured individuals, encouraging them to reach their ultimate potential by providing high quality training with a focus on core multi joint exercises in an friendly and motivational atmosphere.

Be prepared to be pushed to your limits both mentally and physically. I am a massive believer that "if it doesn't challenge you, it doesn't change you" so prepare for the challenge!

The benefits:

  • Fat Burning - compound movements utilise more muscles than isolation exercises meaning you burn more fat each session.
  • You will never get bored - each class is designed to be different ensuring your muscles are always being stimulated to promote strength and growth.
  • Motivation - workout with like minded people, motivating each other in a fun and friendly atmosphere.
  • Available to everyone - all the workouts consist of movements that can be regressed or progressed according to ability. This means that everyone, regardless of age, gender, or fitness level can have fun exercising together.

A Little Bit About Your Coach.

Chrissy Holmes

I absolutely love my job. It's my passion and my Life. I live my days helping and supporting people like you achieve things you've always thought about but never thought possible. Supporting you guys to achieve your individual goals fuels my love of the job, I believe with the right coaching, guidance and motivation anything is possible! I'm not here to judge anyone, I want to help you become the best version of you. 

My personal journey began in 2008 bored at home with my sister, we decided to enter a half marathon (just because we're a little crazy maybe?!) and from there, my love of fitness was born. Since then I've moved from road running, to trail running, to fell running and now OCR's (obstacle course racing) and a passion for strength training I never knew I had. Not only has it given me the oomph I needed to increase my speed, its given me the confidence to be comfortable in my own skin and not give a crap about what other people think.

So in 2014 with the support of my family I quit my job as a deputy manager, spent my savings, qualified as a fitness and motivation coach, all with the aim to empower others and enrich their life through health and exercise. The ultimate dream was to do this in my own little gym. This became a reality on the 18th May 2015 when 'Border Warrior' was born.

  •   Bob Graham Round - 42 peaks, 66 miles,2700ft
      ascent <24hrs target time. Actual Time = 21.56
